Imani Wright |  SwanoDown SitDown Presented by the Baltimore Times | A Live Talk & Original Musical Performance  Host: Imani Wj Wright Guests: Jessica C (Wolf) and Madeline McQuillan  For this sitdown, we speak with two young visual artists, and explore their processes intellectually, and artistically. Not just dealing with their pieces, but also their approach to certain aspects of life such as fear, and the stepping stones to success.  Over the last decade, the young Imani Wj Wright has been honing his musical skills and talents. At the age of 18, he boasts and impressive resume that includes a scholarship at the Prestigious Peabody Institute and The Lyric Opera House of Baltimore. While at The Lyric Opera House of Baltimore, Imani penned his own opera titled ‘Industrial Love’. The multi-talented musician also spent time training at the American University under the tutelage of the Washington National Opera. Imani Wj Wright is known for his eclectic style which without a doubt is all his own. One of the most striking features found in Imani’s music is his unique ability to not only delivery ear-pleasing sounds but he drives listeners to explore a myriad of messages that possess a certain depth not often seen among today’s young performers.
