TELEWORK TRAINING Length: 2 hours Restrictions: MDOT Employees Only Prerequisite: YES - Employee must have completed their probationary period AND have a minimum of a "Meets Standards" evaluation. Documents Required: You must bring your completed Telework Agreement and MDTA form #347 to class (These documents can be accessed on the MDTA intranet on the "Training Information" page under Telework Program). The MDTA has a telework program that allows certain qualified employees the opportunity to work from a location other than their customary work site.  Part of the approval process for the Telework Program entails training for both the employee and their supervisor.  This course will satisfy the training requirement of the Telework Program. The telework training covers the following topics: COMAR TSHRS Policy 7M DBM Telework Policy dated 5/22/13 MDTA Telework Manual MDTA Telework Agreement Standard Operating Procedure: MDTA-010 Standard Operating Procedure: MDTA-011 Standard Operating Procedure: MDTA-012 MDTA form#345 Employee Eligibility Checklist MDTA form#347 Telework Program Evaluation Report MDTA form#348 Employee Telework Schedule MDTA form#349 Employee Telework Work Plan MDTA form#350 Termination of Telework Program Telework training must be completed BEFORE you can telework. This training is restricted to employees of the Maryland Department of Transportation only. All MDTA classes/events are subject to weather related closings of State facilities.  When State facilities are closed or when Liberal leave is granted, all scheduled classes/events are cancelled.  We will attempt to notify participants as soon as possible of the cancellation.
