This is a beginner's guide on mindfulness & meditative techniques over four weekly, one-hour sessions. For some, Meditation is a way to connect the inner awareness to the outer, and Mindfulness is a way to connect the outer awareness to inner. Meditation and Mindfulness remove stuck emotional energy and leaves you feeling softer, open and less burdened. It helps to clear a way to better personal decision-making. You may even begin to use this process as a means of expanding your horizons and increasing your sense of hope and individual accomplishment and become a rich source of positive reinforcement in your daily life. We will untangle the myths, discover different methodologies, the purpose of the meditative process and learn how to foster a deeper level of awareness within ourselves. You will be led through practices on how to still the mind, release stress and experience a deep sense of being. Each class is created to provide an opportunity to discover the wisdom and the science behind the techniques, to ask questions, to practice and to discuss your individual peace-filled experience. During each class, we’ll learn something useful about meditation and mindfulness and how to apply it to daily living: Class One. Breathwork – Breathing, Grounding, Guided Imagery v. Meditation Class Two. Sight & Sound – Chanting, Music, Nature Sounds Class Three. Mindfulness & Movement - Body Mindfulness, Dancing and 31 Flavors of Meditation Class Four. You, Me & Us - Self Reiki, Inner Guide and Connection Space is Limited! We are purposely keeping this event intimate and sacred for you. Dress in clothes that you are comfortable in. Some may choose to wear workout attire, others come in regular clothes. We will close the door at ten after the hour. Once the door is closed, it is closed for the evening. Please don’t knock… the door will not open for entry, as we don't want to disturb the sacred safe space. We invite latecomers to come back for the next class. Please turn cell phones off or leave them outside the room. A “silent” vibrating phone is just as distracting as an unmuted one. #Health #Class #Workshop #Wellness #Personal Health #Meditation #Mindfulness   FAQs   Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
