MECU Pavilion (Formerly Pier Six Pavilion)
Located on Baltimore, Maryland's highly popular Inner Harbor, the Pier Six Pavilion provides both residents and tourists with some of the best entertainment and views in town. Nestled at the heart of the Harbor, the Pier Six Concert Pavilion is within walking distance of thousands of hotels, restaurants, museums and other city attractions.
The facility that is now Baltimore’s Pier Six Pavilion first opened its doors to the public in 1981. Since then, the music venue has undergone two different phases of renovation and expansion. The current structure, which opened in 2006, features six, 70-foot masts, a nylon roof, a loading dock, store and concession areas, a catering room, a production office and dressing rooms. Today, the new and improved Pier Six Pavilion keeps up with the numerous other, similar venues in the area by playing host to some of the best live entertainment the city has to offer.
From R&B to classical acts, the Pier Six Pavilion welcomes them all. Big names are no stranger to the venue, either. James Taylor, Billy Idol, Donna Summer, BB King, Huey Lewis, Stevie Wonder and the Goo Goo Dolls are just a few of the big names featured on the schedule in the past.
