This workshop will provide a full day of hands-on exploration, interaction, working closely with fellow actors to develop listening skills, trusting instincts, gaining confidence, and adding to the vital tool kit every actors needs to win auditions and conquer roles. About Your Instructor ROBERT NEAL MARSHALL is a SAG-AFTRA, AEA actor and graduate of New York University Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Film Production. As Casting Associate with Pat Moran, CSA, Robert was a member of the teams to win an EMMY® award for casting HBO’s GAME CHANGE with Julianne Moore, Directed by Jay Roach, and an EMMY® nomination for casting season one of VEEP starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Prior film work includes Regina Ziegler Productions in Berlin, Germany and multiple industrials for Jack Lieb Productions. Robert was production manager and co-casting director on THE NIGHT WATCHMEN, starring James Remar, Matt Servitto, and Rain Pryor, and is a founding producing partner of On Deck Films, LLC. Acting principal roles include House of Cards (2018) plus co-starring roles as producer William Selig in Bill Tilghman and the Outlaws (2018), with Matt Servitto in Faith (2011), Captain Richard Phillips in Somali Pirate Takedown (2009) Discovery Channel, and Captain Jay Jonas in Countdown to Ground Zero (2006) History Channel , plus various stage credits including Ken Davenport's Improv Comedy AWESOME 80'S PROM both at the Baltimore Hippodrome and Off-Broadway in New York. Robert began in the West End of London in General Management on several hit shows, including ME AND MY GIRL, starring Emma Thompson and Robert Lindsay, and Rowan Atkinson’s one man show A NEW REVIEW. He produced and directed the critically acclaimed musical IS THERE LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? at the Donmar Warehouse. His own critically acclaimed musical RUMPELSTILTSKIN’S DAUGHTER has been produced at the world famous Edinburgh Festival, at the Earl’s Court Festival in London, and by Theater IV in Richmond VA, among other regional productions. As Producer/Tour Manager he has traveled with Richard Pryor’s daughter, Rain Pryor, on her one woman show FRIED CHICKEN & LATKES, also producing initial workshops of AFTER ALL for Tony Award nominated actress Anita Gillette. In addition to a growing list of feature & shorts credits as Casting Director, Line Producer and Assistant Director, Marshall has independently produced and directed several feature length documentary films. About Actors Club and RNM Productions Actors Club was created by Actor/Producer Ken Arnold for the purposes of providing a safe, comfortable and creative place for actors to develop their professional skills. Meeting every other week throughout the year, with special additional workshops, Actors Club offers an opportuity to work on monologues, prepare for auditions, develop and research characters, work in front of cameras with positive and constructive feedback and much more. Instructors Ken Arnold, Dan Franko and Robert Neal Marshall are working industry professionals in addition to guest artists such as Kathy Searle, Matt Servitto and others who bring their expertise to Actors Club members.
